Helmets and Boots required for ALL riders,

Other than that Casual Attire!

Recent coggins required. Optional Stall Rental- $25.00

Virginia Horse Center -- Lexington, Va

The Old Dominion Morgan Horse Association is pleased to hold our show at the beautiful Virginia Horse Center in historic Lexington, VA.  Located at the junction of Rtes 81 & 64, the VHC offers a 600-acre state-of-the-art show complex which may be viewed at www.horsecenter.org.  The complex includes permanent stalls, show office, showers, vendors, food service, indoor wash racks, and 24-hour security.  Accommodations include a generous supply of camper spaces, motels, restaurants, a tack store, and a trailer dealership all in the immediate area.  The complex is framed by ample parking for rigs of all sizes, miles of trails, indoor arenas including the 4,000-seat Waldron Arena (Anderson Coliseum), outdoor rings with all-weather footing, and a cross country course.  Facilities couldn’t be better than at Virginia’s premier facility for equine events.

What's special in 2007?
 

We have moved to the Anderson Coliseum for our performance and in-hand classes.  We have moved our Sport Horse sections to the Wiley & Fletcher arenas.  We have opened our Trail, Carriage & Dressage sections to ALL breeds with AMHA Open Competition awards for Morgans. 


 
 
We have expanded our Classic Pleasure, Working Hunter, and AOTS Hunter Pleasure sections and added a Reining section.  We offer TBA (To Be Announced)  class slots in the class schedule for sponsorship and entry by exhibitors (limited to Coliseum performance classes).  We are holding an AMHA Youth of the Year Contest during the show.
